My Archways Seminar is very different from other Archways Seminar classes offered at NWU. This canoe trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is the experience-based component of my Archways Seminar class. Once Fall semester classes begin, we will continue to explore wilderness through readings, discussion, personal reflection and documentaries.
A second difference is that I select the 14 students that will be in this AWS. To be considered for the class, you must complete an application and submit it to me. If you would like to go on this trip and be a student in my Archways Seminar (Necessity of Wilderness), download the Application Form, fill it out, and send it to me (email is best: email@example.com).
Lastly, students selected for the class will be notified as soon as I receive and process your application. There is a $300 fee for this trip to help offset expenses. Students selected for my class have until the June 29 to submit the course fee.
I am glad to visit with you to answer any of your questions about the trip and my class. My information is available on the Application Form or you can drop me an email through the Contact page on this website.
